                               STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

HOUSE OF CREATIVE WRITING organizes, hosts and supports literary activities and interfaith/
intercultural outreach, in its humble efforts to help promote a respectful diversity, pluralism
and peaceful coexistence. It seeks to create a cultural bridge, through language and literature,
between the Southeast Asian Islamic countries and the United Stated of America.

VISIT THE ISLAMIC CENTER OF WASHINGTON, DC

As part of HOUSE OF CREATIVE WRITING's intercultural and interfaith outreach, Ninie is offering to
bring an individual  or  a group of non-Muslims -- who are interested in knowing about Islam --
to visit the Islamic Center mosque on Massachusetts Avenue, to observe the daily prayer or  'Iftar'
(fast-breaking dinner and gathering) during
Ramadan.

The individual or group  will be able to observe how the Muslims are performing their prayer or
breaking their  fast during the month of
Ramadan, which is rotating according to the lunar calendar.
After the evening Maghrib prayer, a traditional communal dinner is provided by the mosque and you
are invited to join and share. Ninie will also provide a Q & A session, if requested and as time permits.

                      TIP ON TRANSLATION & INTERPRETATION

By using services directly from individual translators or interpreters, in opposed to using services
through a language or translation company, you would certainly cut substantial expenses in your
production. Besides, when emergency occurs, you will be able to communicate with your service
provider, directly and immediately. So, you definitely save a lot; time, bureaucracy, and most
importantly, fund.
